I wasn't expecting this quality!
Maybe that's the first "movie" that is one of those specials, so maybe every project that looks like this will have the same problem wich took the chance of be considered a good movie.
Saying that, Choujinki Metalder: The Movie maybe is one of the top 10 best episodes of this series, not only because the budget looks even better and it's crazy to see in the Widescreen format and the direction knowing that, made the best to expand all the sceneries and even the battle scenes are better making the characters moves a lot between the fights.

The "movie" turned out to just be a 20 minute special shown at a Toei festival in 1987, but it's still fun tokusatsu in which the robot hero learns a cool fighting technique from a statue of Buddha.
